Welcome to the Mandarin Core Group (MCG) of CCCO!

The Mandarin ministry began as a small Bible study group in 1999 when God started to bring in Mandarin-speaking people, both believers and seekers, to CCCO. After some prayerful discussions and consultations, the church board recommended adopting the Mandarin ministry as one of the key areas for church development. The Mandarin ministry has grown into a congregation in 2004.

Currently, the Mandarin congregation has over 70 believers, with over 25 seekers regularly attending various church functions such as worship services, cell groups and fellowship meetings. Most people in the congregation are middle-aged, married couples with children. The majority emigrated from mainland China to Canada within the last 10 years. A few came from Taiwan, Hong Kong or other parts of the world. Though over 70% of the members in the group are new believers, many are growing steadily in Spirit. Over 80% members serve as different roles and responsibilities in the church. In March of 2014, Pastor Gary joined to our church as our full-time Mandarin Pastor.

The function of the Mandarin Core Group is to provide coordination among various departments in the congregation and provide environment for spiritual growth through prayer, praise, sharing, communication and support among different branches in the united CCCO church body in order to "Glorify God & Serve Mankind".

Sunday School

The Sunday School is hold on every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. at Room 102 on Basement. It offers small classes for the systematic Bible study. Arrange courses based on student spiritual maturity.
The current topic is researching and teaching of Paul's epistles: "Romans - The power of the great gospel"

• Ottawa Joint Mandarin Devotional Conference will be held between May 2nd and 4th at 19:30 at EACO.
